29 Jun sunset, Race Point, Provincetown, Massachusetts
The sun just did not want to set. Just as the bottom of it touched the top pf the ocean, it squealed with delight, lighting up the thick clouds just above to vermillion. God pulled the sun down further into the ocean whether or not it agreed; the sun got large and huffed and puffed. This saga continued, as the clouds got only redder. Once the sun sank deep into the ocean’s bottom, the clouds remained all lit up with deep dark reds. Then above light-weight clouds became pink. This was the best movie I had ever seen. My easel broke from the strong wind. The entire easel tipped over and I spent an hour brushing sand off each of 225 oil crayons.
